MUMS who successfully completed a course in helping breastfeeding women will be presented with certificates by the mayor.
The 10 women completed a nine-week breastfeeding peer supporters course at Government-funded Gravesham Sure Start, Cornwell Avenue, Gravesend.
It involved learning about the benefits of breastfeeding, positions, views of breasteeding in society and problem solving.
They will now work voluntarily with breastfeeding new mums in community venues and hospitals.
Mayor of Gravesham Councillor Harry Smith will present the volunteers with certificates on Thursday.
Sure Start midwife Karen Youens said: "The programme is one of only two available in this part of the country and it makes a profound difference to the wellbeing of our families.
"The enthusiasm of the mums taking part shows they agree."
