ADVICE on how to live a more healthy is on offer at a library.
Dartford Library's Healthy Eating Week kicks off on September 11 with the chance to meet with a NHS dietician and nutritionist who will explain the importance of healthy eating.
Manager of Dartford Borough Museum Chris Baker will lead a two-hour history walk through the town on Saturday.
Trading standards officials will be on hand all day at the library in Central Park, Dartford, on September 13 to explain how to read and understand food labelling.
There will also be a session on finding health information on the internet.
Francine Payne will give a talk entitled A History of Dartford Hospitals, based on food and health issues of the past, on September 16.
The library will be displaying a selection of books with titles based around fruit and vegetables, including A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess and John Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath.
