FOR a group of youngsters, summer holiday fun was going back to school for two weeks.
The youngsters, aged between eight and 10, are pupils at Northend Primary School, Peareswood Road, Slade Green, who took part in a summer school held for three hours every weekday morning.
The free scheme involved a variety of activities including scientific investigations, writing plays, maths and chemistry activities and drama.
Youngsters also produced their own newspaper, writing stories which covered events during the summer school.
Using their ICT skills, they put the paper together and printed a copy for each child.
