RESIDENTS are being asked to fill out a survey in a bid to help improve services in the borough.
More than 5,000 randomly- selected Lewisham households have received a Best Value Performance Indicator survey.
The questionnaire, which is undertaken by councils every three years, is a means of gauging residents' views on services from street cleaning and recycling to leisure facilities and transport.
Responses will be used to help the council make improvements and help raise its Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) score.
The CPA is run by the Audit Commission and monitors a council's performance on a four-star rating system. Lewisham has a three-star rating meaning it is "improving well".
Residents who complete and return their questionnaire will be entered into a £1,000 prize draw.
