A MOTHER'S 48-year search for her missing daughter could move a step closer to conclusion tomorrow.
Barbara Raymond-Waul and a woman she believes is the daughter taken from her are to have DNA tests.
The tests, which are taking place at a clinic in Hammersmith, will show whether the two are related.
Mother-of-10 Mrs Raymond-Waul claims her daughter was stolen from her shortly after she gave birth to twins at Lambeth Hospital on June 28, 1958.
News Shopper published her amazing story in May - triggering a chain of events which led to the 48-year-old woman coming forward.
After an emotional meeting took place last month they decided to have the DNA testing to find the truth.
The results are expected to be available by September 13.
Speaking ahead the tests, the 70-year-old, of Batavia Road, New Cross, said: "I feel great.
"There are no words to describe what I'm feeling. It will be an exciting experience.
"I thank God for bringing me through this trauma of trying to find my daughter after all these years."
The great-grandmother still thinks the DNA tests are not necessary.
She added: "As I have said before I felt that everything just fitted in when we met.
"If the test doesn't work out I would feel something was wrong because everything fits like a jigsaw."
