A BABY and its parents escaped injury when a gunman fired several shots at their house late last Friday night.
A man, aged 26, his girlfriend and their baby were at home in Totnes Avenue, Welling, at about 11.55pm, when shots were fired into the front door and porch.
Witnesses say they saw two men running towards Bideford Road at the time of the shooting.
Police believe the gunman is black, in his 20s or 30s and has cropped hair and a thin beard.
The incident is being investigated by officers from Operation Trafalgar which investigates shooting incidents in London.
