TWO of Bexley’s last remaining public lavatories go up for sale next month.
The loos in Bexley Village and in Bexleyheath’s town centre in Townley Road, opposite the shopping centre, go under the hammer at the Kent county showground in Maidstone on June 6.
The sale is part of Bexley Council’s 2014 strategy to cut council costs.
With a town centre location and covering just over 1,300 sq ft the Townley Road toilets have a guide price of between £170,000 and £180,000.
The Bexley Village loos are in the High Street in the centre of the village and are expected to fetch £5,000 to £7,000.
