STUDENTS in full-time education under the age of 18 will now be able to travel on London's buses for free.
Under 16s already travel for free but this will now extend to 16 and 17-year-olds.
There will also be free travel available for those who use trams.
London Mayor Ken Livingstone will officially launch the scheme today and it will come into force tomorrow.
The Mayor will be joined at the launch by young people and representatives from the Association of Colleges and Centrepoint - a charity for the homeless and young people who are socially excluded.
