TWO more teenagers have been sentenced at Bexley Magistrates' Court for their part in a running street battle which sent members of the public fleeing in terror.
An Erith boy, aged 14, admitted taking part in an affray in Bellegrove Road, Welling, on April 21 this year.
Another teenager, aged 15, from Belvedere, had denied affray but admitted a lesser charge of using threatening or abusive language or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
They were among a group of up to 30 youths who had gathered on the street at around 8.50pm and attacked four other youths.
Yesterday District Judge Paul Carr watched CCTV footage of the mini-riot and saw the 14-year-old throw a can of beer at a group of opposing youths and members of the public. He was also seen to throw a crash helmet at a youth.
The 15-year-old was seen shouting and provoking the situation, but did not take part in the violence.
The two boys, who were previously unknown to police, were each given a nine-month referral order, designed to address their behaviour.
Last month 12 other teenagers admitted their part in the fighting and six were given custodial sentences.
Three other teenagers are still awaiting trial next month.
