Tony Combs, from Orpington, plucked up the courage to have his head shaved in order to raise money for Harris HospisCare.
Tony's father, who died eight years ago, was cared for during his illness by the charity's home-care nursing team and Tony, 42, decided he should do something to raise money in his memory.
The head shave took place at The Chequers Inn, Southborough Lane and locals provided a countdown and donated £50.
Tony had his hair and eyebrows shaved and his head sprayed red!
Beverly Smith, from Orpington's Innovations salon, provided the cut.
Tony expects to raise £200.
