A VILLAGE fair packing a Punch, as well as a Judy, went off without a hitch. The Wilmington Village Fair was held on Wilmington Common and was opened by Dartford mayor Councillor David Hammock.
Attractions included a bouncy castle, face painting and a Punch and Judy show.
The adults were entertained by an array of stalls, a beer tent, a barbecue, a tombola and live music.
The August 28 event was organised in association with Wilmington Parish Council and the proceeds will go to support members of the Wilmington Scout Group and The Gaff youth club, also in Wilmington.
Peter Onley, a retired manager from Thames Water, was part of the organising committee.
The 60-year-old said: "It was a great success and I hope everyone really enjoyed themselves."
