A MEETING to examine plans for a casino at the Millennium Dome is taking place today.

The Casino Advisory Panel is holding an event for each of the shortlisted regional casino sites, with the Dome's taking place from 9.30am to 4pm.

Speakers at the Examinations in Public (EiPs) is by invitation only but there is limited space for the public to attend.

The chairman of the panel, Professor Stephen Crow, opened the meeting with a prepared statement.

The EiPs takes place at Jury's Hotel, 16-22 Great Russell Street, London.
