PUPILS were left inspired to learn how to play musical instruments after a group of American bell ringers performed at their school.
The Genesis Bell Ringers, made up of 30 teenagers between the ages of 14 and 17, wowed pupils at Wickham Court School with a medley of tunes from the Harry Potter films.
From a sister school in Florida, the bell ringers visited pupils as part of a 10 day study programme which had them travel to different parts of the UK to perform.
Wickham Court School music teacher Isabelle Leibrecht said: "The children were amazed and extremely impressed at the performance especially as many recognised the tunes from Harry Potter.
“They awarded the group with certificates at the end."
As part of an exchange scheme senior pupils at the school in Layhams Road, West Wickham, are hoping to travel to the States in the near future to visit their Florida friends.
