THE magical world of Disney was brought to a children’s hospice when Mickey Mouse and Pluto dropped in for a tea party.
Eight youngsters at Demelza Hospice Care for Children enjoyed meeting the special guests and having their photos taken with them.
The day room of the hospice in Wensley Close, Eltham was decorated with balloons and streamers, while staff dressed up as fairies, princesses and characters from the film 101 Dalmatians.
The children, aged one to nine, and their families also enjoyed playing a selection of games.
Head of care at Demelza South East London, Sarah Carter, said: “It was really hard keeping Mickey Mouse and Pluto’s visit a secret but it was worth it to see the excitement when they arrived – both from children and staff.
“Thank you so much to Disney for such a special day and also to Clinton Cards who donated the balloons.”
