A HINDU group celebrated the birth of the faith's highest God, Lord Krishna, with an evening of entertainment.
Gravesend's Hindu Samati joined worshippers worldwide by celebrating the occasion at Miskin Hall, Hever Court Road, Singlewell.
Sant Dharam Shanta Nand Ji, from India, sang devotional songs to visitors.
At the event on Saturday there was Bhajan - hymn singing - and Bhojan - blessed food.
Hindus believe Lord Krishna was a divine incarnation and a heroic warrior and teacher.
The group's second celebration of Lord Krishna's birthday, referred to as Janam Ashthami, was free but donations to the Hindu Samati were accepted.
