THERE is still time to recognise residents for the work they do voluntarily.
Nominations for the Kent Volunteers' Awards, which has received thousands of entries since it began in 1999, close on September 22.
Winners will be notified on October 13 and given their award at a ceremony on November 26.
Categories include volunteer work in welfare and disability, community and development, education, arts and mentoring.
Groups or individuals can be nominated.
The annual event is supported by Kent County Council and several businesses which sponsor a category, including the Environment Agency and healthcare company Pfizer.
