A MAN with severe learning difficulties has been beaten up in a public park by a group of yobs.
The man, aged 42, was in Franks Park in Parkside Road, Belvedere, at about 3.45pm on Agust 23 when the attack took place.
He received a number of wounds to his head and face which needed stitches.
Because of his disability, he has been unable to give police a detailed account of what happened but it is believed the youngsters hit him around the face and head with a large tree branch.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the park and saw anything to call PC Andy Burton at Bexleyheath CID on 020 8284 9207.
