A TEAM of volunteers spent a week painting a "talking point" mural at a youth centre.
The artwork, which features a black fist and a white fist touching, was painted on the sports hall at Miracles Youth Centre, Windsor Road, Kings Farm, Gravesend.
Volunteers painted the word respect over the design.
Each day around eight volunteers worked on the mural, which is 15sq ft in total and is based on the theme of harmony in the community.
They were co-ordinated by the Volunteer Services Unit, which recruits help for community projects across Kent.
The unit also paid for the materials.
Centre manager Jon Whitfield said: "It's been a big talking point and has given the centre a bit of life."
