THE fight against litter has brought young people together during the school holidays.
Swanley Council organised the fifth annual Just Bin It competition aimed at involving youngsters in keeping the community tidy.
Children aged four to 15 designed posters to stop people littering.
More than 1,000 entries were submitted and judges had to pick a runner-up in each of the three age categories.
Seven-year-old Jack Amos from St Paul's School, Swanley Village, was chosen as the overall winner.
The winning drawing was of a bin full of rubbish which was placed among trees, plants and birds.
The competition winners were awarded a certificate as well as art materials by the mayor of Swanley Councillor Barrie Wigg at the Civic Centre, St Mary's Road, Swanley.
Jack's poster will be professionally printed by the council and displayed in shops and business in the area.
