PEOPLE with a passion for making films are being offered the chance to explore their talents with access to professional help and funding.
A project, called the Tripod Filming Fund, has been set up between Film London and the arts and film departments at Bexley, Greenwich and Bromley councils.
The fund offers the opportunity to potential film makers to receive training, enabling them to produce a script for film production.
Twelve applicants will be shortlisted to take part in a script development training programme and one lucky winner will be selected to take their idea from script to screen.
They will get a grant, together with a support package, mentoring and resources to make their film.
To be eligible, people must live, work or study in one of the three boroughs and applications have to be received by September 4.
For details, call Bexley Council's film office on 020 8294 6991 or email saskia.delman@bexley.
