ICE princess Laura Hamilton narrowly missed out on being crowned champion of Dancing on Ice last night.
The three finalists – ex-Eastenders actor Sam Attwater and TV presenters Chloe Madeley and Ms Hamilton - each had to perform a showcase dance and a favourite routine from the series.
Ms Hamilton achieved the only perfect score of the series with 30 points for the reprisal of her routine to I’m So Excited.
This impressed judge Jason Gardiner so much he took his hat off to her – and revealed the results of a much talked about hair implant in the process.
But the former Dartford Grammar School for Girls pupil fared less well with the judges when she attempted to recreate the sexiness of Madonna’s Express Yourself pop video in her showcase routine.
The 28-year-old, from Meopham, had topless men skaters but judge Emma Bunton said: “It was missing the sexy Madonna feel.”
The public vote knocked out Ms Madeley leaving Ms Hamilton to skate the Bolero against Mr Attwater.
It was all down to the public vote and Ms Hamilton applauded her younger competitor when it was announced he was the winner.
She said: “It’s been such an incredible experience and I think that Colin and I might not have been a part of this show.
“I just want to thank my family and Alex [her boyfriend].
“I have lived, slept and breathed ice skating with Colin over the past few months.
“It has been a magical experience and I feel like the luckiest person alive.”
After Christopher Dean said she was like Lewis Hamilton on ice she remarked that he too had come second yesterday, in the Australian Grand Prix.
