PEOPLE with a passion for film making are being offered the chance to explore their talents with access to professional help and funding.
A joint funding project, called the Tripod Filming Fund, has been set up between Film London and the arts and film departments at Bexley, Greenwich and Bromley councils.
The fund offers the chance to potential film makers to get high-quality training and mentoring to enable them to produce a script for film production.
Twelve applicants will be shortlisted to take part in a script development training programme and one lucky winner will be selected to take their idea from script to screen.
The winner will get a grant, a support package or training, mentoring and resources to make their film.
To be eligible people must live, work or study in one of the three boroughs and applications have to be received by September 4.
For further information about the scheme, contact your council's film office.
