BUS users are being asked for their views on proposed changes to two routes.

Transport for London (TfL) wants to hear residents' views on ideas it has come up with to improve routes 53 and 453, which travel along New Cross Road to Lewisham Way.

The plans include extending bus lane operating hours and revising road markings around the Catford gyratory to give drivers more information on how best to use road space.

TfL also wants to extend the east-bound bus lane, towards Deptford Bridge, between Lewisham Way and Amersham Road.

It hopes the proposals to the routes, which now have bendy buses, will increase reliability and reduce delays.

Comments should be made to traffic engineer Inderpal Grewal at Transport for London, Windsor House, 42-50 Victoria Street, London, SW1H OTL, by September 15.
