YOUNGSTERS enjoyed dancing and drumming classes at a summer school.
Twenty-five children aged from eight to 12 took part in African and Caribbean percussion sessions.
The event was organised by dance theatre company Irie and held at Wesley Halls, Shroffold Road, Downham.
The company has been based at the Albany Theatre, Deptford, for 21 years.
Arts development director Beverley Glean said: "The dance and drumming classes engage young people in creative cultural activities, which support their self-development and support the work they do in school.
"It also enhances their social skills."
