OFFENDERS on community service orders cleared litter as part of a police initiative.
Organised by the Clockhouse Safer Neighbourhood Team, the seven offenders set to work at the car park in Elmers End Road, close to the junction of Marlow Road, Beckenham.
The scheme, which is also in partnership with the London Probation Service, saw six offenders aged between 18 and 20-years-old and one male in his 40s cleaning up the area on August 15.
PCSO Steve Young said: "The alleyway and car park are now much improved and several residents have commented on how much better it looks."
