MOZART'S popular comic opera Cosi Fan Tutti is performed in the bucolic surroundings of the Observatory Gardens in Greenwich Park this Sunday.
The Garden Opera Company's production is set on a village cricket green in 1914.
Two couples find their fidelities tested in a tale of cunning plots, comic disguises, bets, tricks and fickle lovers.
The show has a long interval for mid-opera picnics.
If rain threatens to stop play, the show will be staged in St. Alfege's Church in Church Street, Greenwich.
Proceeds from the performance will go towards Greensong Productions' educational outreach programme.
Cosi Fan Tutti, August 27. Greenwich Park, 3pm, £20, £18 group discount for 10 or more, box office 020 8858 7755.
