WALK THIS WAY: A sponsored walk in aid of the Ellenor Foundation takes place on Bank Holiday Monday at Camer Park in Meopham. The park is reached from the A227 Gravesend to Wrotham road. Three, five and eight-mile walks begin at 10am. The foundation provides respite care at home for people in Bexley. Call 01322 221315.
WORKSHOPS: From Tuesday, Trust Thamesmead will be holding a week of workshops for 13 to 19-year-olds. You can learn how to make music videos, documentaries and short films and how to be a DJ. The workshops run from 1pm to 5pm. Call 020 8320 4470.
DONKEY DERBY: Welling Round Table's donkey derby and summer fair takes place at St Mary's recreation ground in Bourne Road, Bexley Village, this Sunday. Gates open at 1pm and the first race is at 2pm. Entry is £1 for adults, 50p for children and £1 to park.
RADIO STARS: TGR Sounds, the internet community radio station for Bexley, is looking for more would-be presenters and volunteers. The station has now been granted a licence to broadcast on FM in the area. Call 01322 447767.
