A WOMAN is in a serious condition in hospital after being hit by a van as she waited for a bus.
The Ford Escort van is believed to have hit the woman, who is in her 20s, after undertaking a car on Trafalgar Road, Greenwich, mounting the pavement and colliding with a lamppost.
Three men were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving following the accident at 11.50pm on August 19.
At the time of going to press, the men were in custody in a south London police station.
The woman was taken to King's College Hospital, where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
And the accident is being investigated by the collision investigation unit at Catford traffic garage.
