HUMOUROUS youngsters got the chance to clown around during summer activities.
Twenty-five residents, aged eight to 21, took part in comedy and clowning courses at Bonus Pastor School, Winlaton Road, Lewisham.
The courses were part of a three-week summer programme arranged by Greenwich and Lewisham Young People's Theatre (GLYPT) in Woolwich.
Stand-up comedian Jack Milner and clown Fraser Hooper visited the school to show the youngsters how theatre can be used to make people laugh.
GLYPT education officer Claire Newby said: "The courses encouraged young people to work together to use their own creativity, which finished with them performing to each other at the end of the week.
"We also hope some of them will consider doing drama at our youth theatre in the future."
