DATE CHANGE: The date of a police roadshow has been rescheduled. The event a Darenth Village Hall, Ladywood Road, Darenth, will now take place on August 30. Residents will get the chance to have their say on policing in the area from 10am to 6pm.
BIN AND GONE: There will be a change to refuse collection for Dartford residents over the bank holiday weekend. Collections will be made one day later in the week commencing August 28. Normal service will resume on September 4. Call 01322 343290.
SPOKEN WORD: Blind or partially-sighted people can get free spoken word cassettes and CDs by post. A doctor's letter or a recommendation from the Kent Association for the Blind is needed. For more details, call 01622 605214.
