THE continued growth of the housing market's strength is predicted to create a massive number of property millionaires, a new economic forecast has said.

Economic forecasting firm Centre for Economics and Business Research estimates house prices will rise by 71 per cent between 2006 and 2020. As a result there will be 1.7 million millionaires in 2020, almost five times the current number. However this is fewer than the firm's previous estimate of 1.9 million millionaires by 2020.

Women are expected to be for 53 per cent of this figure.
