SLAM-DUNKING youngsters can now benefit from basketball coaching sessions.
Dartford Council has awarded £800 to Dartford Basketball Club from its sports, arts and heritage grant.
The money has enabled the club to set up a weekly junior basketball clinic for children aged between seven and 16.
Young people can train with basketball coaches at the Beckets Sports Centre, Shepherd's Lane, Dartford.
The Thursday sessions run from 6.30pm to 8pm and provide youngsters with the chance to improve their basketball skills.
Head coach Tim Dickson said: "With help from the grant we've been able to build a quality training ground for young basketball players."
