LIBRARIES are giving children a licence to thrill their parents by reading more books.
Youngsters of all ages can attend the Reading Mission challenge, which is being held at libraries across Gravesham.
This year's theme is all about spies, disguises and cracking codes in the style of James Bond.
Those interested in taking part need to fill in a registration card and they will then receive a Reading Mission pack.
The mission's objective, for your eyes only, is for youngsters to read six books and tell the library what they thought about them.
Budding Bonds must also complete puzzles and collect stickers.
Those who complete the mission will receive a certificate and a medal. The challenge ends on September 16.
To promote the reading challenge Gravesend Library, Windmill Street, has already held an activity day which allowed children to enjoy crafts, puzzles, stories and games.
