A WEST Country coroner is appealing for help in finding the relatives of a man found dead in east Dorset.
The man, David Stephen McBride, aged 62, was found dead in his flat in Penn Court, Station Road, in the West Moors area of Ferndown on August 11.
Coroner's officer Allan Young says there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr McBride's death.
But the coroner for Bournemouth, Poole and East Dorset, who will hear the inquest into Mr McBride's death, wants Mr Young to make contact with the Mr McBride's family so his inquiries can be completed before the inquest is heard.
Mr Young says it is believed Mr McBride had a daughter, possibly called Theresa, or a son, who may live in the Sidcup area.
He said: "I would like to hear from any family member Mr McBride may have in the Sidcup area and from anyone else who may be able to put me in touch with them."
If you can help, call 01202 789154.
