IT WAS time to party for present and past members of 3rd Belvedere Brownies as they celebrated the pack's 70th birthday.
More than 60 former leaders, helpers and members were invited to the celebrations at St Andrew's Church, Brampton Road, Bexleyheath.
Guests included Sarah Turner, who was with the pack more than 30 years ago from 1973 to 1977, and June Norris, a former Tawny Owl for more than 20 years.
Some of today's members paraded in uniforms from previous eras and there were displays of old photographs and Brownie books from days gone by.
Star of the party was the 70th birthday cake, decorated with a large brown owl.
People also made paper roses to mark the fact the Brownies were orginally called Rosebuds before the name was changed, and the rose was the symbol for Guiding.
