NEWS Shopper reached new heights when Gravesham mayor Councillor Harry Smith scaled three peaks in Africa's Atlas Mountains.
Cllr Smith was joined in North Africa by Gravesham MP Adam Holloway and Darent Valley Hospital charge nurse Ian Sutton.
The trio took their favourite newspaper along with them on their 10-day challenge.
They trekked and climbed seven hours a day in temperatures ranging from 35 to 42 degrees.
Their trip culminated in the group scaling North Africa's highest peak, 4,167m high Jbel Toubkal.
Can you beat the intrepid trio's challenge, which raised more than £2,000 for charity, by taking News Shopper on your adventures?
