A GROUP of youngsters has been finding out what "big school" is like before they go there for real next month.
About 50 youngsters aged 10 and 11 destined for Cleeve Park School, a specialist engineering college in Bexley Lane, Sidcup, spent the first week of their summer holiday finding out more about it.
They were able to see around the building and meet some of the teachers who will take their lessons.
The youngsters also had the chance to sample some lessons such as maths, ITC, food technology and PE.
They were divided into forms and academic groups and followed a school timetable.
But there was also lots of fun and a chance to make friends and dress up as each day had a theme such as pyjama day, beach party and, on the last day, Hallowe'en.
