The newly refurbished British Heart Foundation (BHF) shop in Beckenham will be celebrating in style when the Mayor of Bromley Charles Joel officially re-opens its doors on August 31.
The BHF shop's grand re-opening ceremony has been much anticipated since it closed for renovation earlier this month.
The shop's interior has been brightened with new lighting, which has been complemented by stylish laminated flooring.
The shop exterior has also undergone a facelift and now features smart new signage.
Sherry Courtney, BHF shops area manager for Beckenham, said: "We are delighted with the changes that have been made to the shop - it looks fantastic! We hope that the local community will continue to support the shop as they have done so magnificently in the past."
The shop is urgently appealing for good quality clothing, accessories, handbags, shoes, books, records, videos, DVDs, CDs and bric-a-brac.
To donate items either pop into the shop, located at 168/170 High Street, Beckenham or call to arrange a free collection.
The shop also has a wide range of volunteering opportunities to suit every type of person, including stock sorting and pricing, window dressing, sales assistance, books and music volunteering and much more.
As well as being worthwhile, volunteering in a BHF shop is something practical that people can do to help the charity fight heart disease.
