The Temple Hill Community Forum in Dartford will shortly be taking over ownership and maintenance of 3.5 acres of native woodland which has been offered to the community free of charge by the Department of Health.
The land, formerly Joyce Green Hospital Cemetery, has reverted to native woodland over the past 50 years and will be opened up for the community to use as soon as it is in the forum's ownership.
Over the past year the forum has been running courses and events to highlight the woodland and gain support and enthusiasm from local volunteers which has included running a competition at the local primary school and renaming the land - The Enchanted Woodland.
The forum will soon be running a course on web page creation which will cover basic website creation, manipulating digital photos, video editing and using all learnt skills to create a live website.
The final creation will take over from the very basic website - enchantedwoodland.co.uk
The course will start on September 20 and run for 10 weeks - every Wednesday 10am to 12noon at the Living Well Centre, St Edmunds Road, Temple Hill, Dartford.
The whole course will cost £15 and is heavily subsidised by funding from the Chart Partnership.
