The art of stormchasing was explained to the Orpington Photographic Society at their regular Tuesday meeting when Andrew Garnham-Archer presented a series of slides of his experiences of "Chasing Storms" in the mid-west of North America.
Some of the images were greeted with gasps by the club as they were treated to dramatic shots of storm cloud formations, lightning and, to round off, sunsets.
The Orpington Photographic Society meet regularly every Tuesday at The Small Hall, Christ Church, Charterhouse Road, Orpington at 7.30pm and welcome newcomers.

Just a reminder the Spring Exhibition (of Mono Prints and Slides) is on at Coolings Garden Centre Rushmore Hill Knockholt on the weekend of March 12 and 13. Please come along to see the examples of the Society.
