A TEENAGE balloon modeller and magician has been filmed for his TV debut.

Edward Hilsum bended balloons and performed magic tricks for a film crew from Hobby Check, a show due to be screened on the Disney Channel in October.

The 14-year-old, who goes to school in Tonbridge, is a member of the Young Magicians' Club, part of the Magic Circle.

Edward, of Crossway, Petts Wood, is also a keen trumpet player.

He hopes to become an architect when he grows up.

Edward's mother, Linsey Hilsum, said: "I am very proud of him. It is fascinating to see what he comes up with.

"The looks on people's faces when he makes them something are lovely."
