CHERNOBYL children have enjoyed a day out at the seaside.
More than 20 youngsters aged from 10 to 14 from Belarus were taken to Dymchurch, Kent.
The trip was organised by members of the Northfleet, Swanscombe and Greenhithe Lions Club.
Every year, Chernobyl children stay with host families in England for four weeks to boost their immune systems.
Belarus is still affected by the nuclear power station disaster in Chernobyl, Ukraine, 20 years ago.
People there often suffer respiratory problems.
The youngsters were picked up by coach from the Fleet Estate, Dartford and Wickes car park, Gravesend.
They spent two hours at a fun fair and were treated to a donkey ride in Dymchurch.
Lions Club past president Clive Bushell said: "A day at the seaside was just what the doctor ordered."
