MURDER SUSPECT: A suspect in the murder of Jon Bartlett is due to appear at a south London police station today. Mr Bartlett, 39, lived in Portland Road, Mottingham, and was shot dead on March 31 on Chislehurst Common. Police are still hunting for his killer. Anyone with information should call 020 8721 4205. TWO BAILED: Police have bailed two men arrested in connection with the murder of private investigator Daniel Morgan. Both men are in their late 40s. Mr Morgan, 37, was found with an axe embedded in his head in the Golden Lion pub car park, Sydenham Road, Sydenham, on March 10, 1987.
MASTS STAY: Phone firm Vodafone is allowed to keep its three masts on the roof of the BT telephone exchange, Goodmead Road, Orpington. The decision was made at a Bromley Council planning sub-committee meeting on August 10.
