FOUR men have been charged with the murder of a 30-year-old from Plumstead.
Herjit Bains, aged 32, and Jatinder Kandola, aged 28, both of no fixed abode, appeared before Redbridge Magistrates' Court in Essex on August 11, charged with the murder of Ragbir Chahal.
They were arrested at addresses in Tividale, Birmingham, and West Bromwich, Birmingham, on August 7 and charged on August 10.
Jagpal Jaswal, aged 20, and Reet Marwaha, aged 19, were charged with Mr Chahal's murder on Friday after being arrested in Smethwick, Birmingham, on August 9.
They appeared at Barking Magistrates' Court last Saturday, August 12.
All four men will remain in custody until they appear at the Old Bailey on November 17.
Indian national Mr Chahal, who had been living in Plumstead, was found dead by police in Old Mill Road, near Plumstead Common, on March 3.
A post-mortem examination showed the cause of death was head injuries.
