THOUSANDS of residents enjoyed Charlton's Great Get Together event.
A DJ bus and Irish dancing were some of the activities on offer in Charlton Park, Charlton Park Road, on Saturday.
There were also rides, face painting and a music talent competition.
The event, organised by Greenwich Council, enabled residents to find out more about health and environment services.
People could also find out more about the borough's £212m Building Schools for the Future programme.
The Great Get Together followed earlier successful events in Woolwich, Thamesmead and Eltham.
Council leader Councillor Chris Roberts said: "Although each event is different, they all have in common the opportunity to have a great day out, while being able to talk to the council about the services it provides and how they can be adapted and improved in the future."
