A TEENAGER who twice flouted the new dispersal zone in Bexleyheath's town centre has been punished by magistrates.
The 15-year-old, who lives within the zone and who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted the offences in court three weeks ago.
He agreed on July 10 at 8.40pm at the clock tower in Bexleyheath Broadway, he had been told by police to leave the zone and not return within 24 hours or he would face arrest.
But an hour later he came back and was arrested.
Five days later he was in Friswell Place off the Broadway. He had been drinking.
Again he was ordered to leave and not come back within 24 hours, but went back the following evening.
Last week he also admitted driving a moped on grass near the Asda car park in Graham Road, Bexleyheath, without a licence or insurance.
The boy, already on a nine-month referral order imposed in April for affray, had the order extended by three months.
He had another three-month order imposed for the driving offences, to run concurrently.
The referal orders mean the boy must work with the council's youth offending team.
Magistrate David Ely warned him he would face a more serious penalty if he flouts the dispersal zone again.
