WHEN attending a show, every girl likes to look her best.
So when greyhound bitch Jelly took part in the 12th annual greyhound show at Crayford Greyhound Stadium, she wore a pink bandana with matching painted front nails.
And the attention to detail paid off when she won the best in show award for her owners Ernie and Julie Lawrence from Dartford.
More than 100 retired greyhounds took part in the event at the arena in Stadium Road, Crayford, organised by the Friends of Crayford Retired Greyhounds.
The £1,500 raised goes to the friends' trust which rehomes the retired racers.
This year alone it has found new owners for 105 dogs.
