POLICE are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 70-year-old man missing from his home.
Lateef Sanyaolul-Osba was last seen by his son about 8am on Wednesday sitting in the front garden of his home in Sandhurst Road, Catford.
Mr Sanyaolul-Osba suffers from dementia and is sometimes confused and may not be aware of his surroundings.
PC Angela Tagg, from the Lewisham police's missing persons' unit, said: "We are very concerned for Mr Sanyaolul-Osba and are doing everything we can to find and reunite him with his family.
"I appeal to the community to look out for him and contact the police if they see him."
Mr Sanyaolul-Osba, who is 5ft 6in tall and was wearing a green t-shirt, beige casual trousers and black slippers, may appear confused and may not be able to tell people who he is.
