THIRTY people were evacuated when a flat fire broke out in Bromley yesterday afternoon.
Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to Queens Road at around 1.30pm to battle the fire on the fourth floor after residents had left the building.
Fire crews from Bromley, Eltham and Erith attended the blaze, which damaged part of the five-room flat.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
Fire crews had the blaze under control by 2.40pm.
