SCHOOLCHILDREN will sing carols to entertain the crowd at a library’s Christmas coffee morning.
Shortlands Library in Shortlands Road is holding the festive event at 11am on December 13, and the student choir at nearby Highfield Infants' School will be performing.
Mayor of Bromley Councillor George Taylor will also be at the coffee morning to present certificates to people who have successfully completed the library’s course in using computers.
Library supervisor Laraine Burr said: “We currently offer a 5 week course which is comprised of five sessions lasting one and a quarter hours each.
“It is very exciting to see people, who in many instances have never touched a computer before, discovering a whole new world that is open to them.”
